Ms. Wriggins’ career has always focused on education. Butterick Fashion Marketing Company was her first employer where she served as Educational Representative, Field Supervisor and Assistant Director of Promotion and Education. She then transitioned to
Rowan University (formerly Glassboro State College) where her role was to support college students as they made decisions about their academic major and career choice. She served as Director of Academic Support Programs and Director, Career and Academic Planning
Center. She coordinated and provided professional development to faculty and full-time advisors, introduced undecided students to the Let Me Learn process, and presented information on the Let Me Learn Process to other individuals and groups in higher
education. She also served as the President of the National Academic Advising Association from 2001-
2003. In this role she led the association through a total restructuring which resulted in a 50% increase in membership in less than three years. In addition to writing articles and making presentations on academic advising and career decision making, she was also an
editor of Integrating Academic Advising and Career Life Planning and Academic Advising: New Insights for teaching and learning in the first year.
